Summary of my readings so far!

Esperanza, the main character and narrator, moves into a new house with her Mama, Papa, Carlos, Kiki and her sister Nenny. They had to move from their old house because she water pipes busted and the house they were suppose to move into was suppose to be nice but instead it was not as nice as they thought. Esperanza goes on to tell about how her family look and acts inside and out of the house. Esperanza goes on to tell what her name means, where it came from, and about all the people she associates with throughout her days.
This story is very interesting and not like a normal story. Every little chapter is like a little story all on its on. It's not confusing but it's not a fluent story either. I love how the chapters are so short and it's easy to read but I wish it was more of a real story instead of many little ones.

Painful, Awkward, Embarrassing Situations

The most painful situation I've ever been through as a teen would probably be breakups. Breakups are the hardest to get through and I believe every teen has been through one so they are very common in the world. Love is a big thing in today's society and so many people feel like they should be in love but most of these relationships end with a broken heart. An awkward moment I've seen would have to be when your talking about someone and they show up wherever you are. An embarrassing situation that I've seen was when one of my friends was wearing sweatpants and she slid down the bleachers and her pants got caught on a nail and they ripped.. Now that is embarrassing..
